Valley Church
Valley Church is based in West Des Moines, Iowa. We major on the majors, focusing on what Christians have believed and taught for over two thousand years. And Jesus made it simple: Love God and love your neighbors. We want to be the heart, the hands, and the feet of Jesus to the people of greater Des Moines. We seek to do good for the community, with the community. Whatever your background, whether faith is new to you or familiar, you’ll find a warm, grounded community here. We help relationships thrive through Life Groups, marriage and parenting support, and genuine friendships. We’re bridge builders, not wall builders, pursuing boundless generosity and loving our neighbors well. Join us at any and all of our nine weekly Worship Services.

Weekend Worship Services
Join us for in-person Worship Services every Sunday morning at 8:15, 9:30, and 11 am across multiple venues at Valley Church and the Valley Community Center. Each service features biblically-grounded preaching, live worship music, and lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes. All are welcome.
Online Worship
Can’t make it in person? Watch our Worship Services live online every Saturday evening at 5:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:15, 9:30, and 11 am. Stream from anywhere and experience the full Valley Church service from home.
Spanish Language Worship Services
Valley Church offers Spanish-language ministry through Ministerio de Español, providing a space for our Spanish-speaking neighbors to encounter God and community in their heart language. All are welcome.
Kids Ministry
We offer nursery and Kids Ministry — “Sunday school” — for infants through 5th graders at all three Sunday morning service times. Our lower-level kids’ spaces are safe, secure, and designed to help children grow in faith in an age-appropriate environment.
Student Ministries
Valley Church has dedicated ministries for middle school and high school students. Middle schoolers meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. High school students gather on Sunday evenings. We want every student to find real community and grow in their faith.
Life Groups
Life Groups are the heartbeat of community at Valley Church — small groups of people who meet regularly to grow in faith, build genuine friendships, and support one another through life. Try a Life Group and experience what it means to do life together.
Baptism
Baptism is one of the most meaningful steps in a person’s faith journey. Valley Church offers baptism as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. If you’re ready to take this step, we’d love to celebrate with you.

Has the best children ministry. Since i brought my boy , he has never wanted to miss the church. He enjoys and has learned a lot of bible stories and verses. The two pastors are great Bible teachers too. I have learned a lot from them and grown spiritually.It’s has great hospitality too,I feel at home. My wife and daughters love and enjoy volunteering in children’s ministry every Sunday.Has generous and caring members. I got my first car donated by a generous members, 7 years ago when first moved to USA. I have been a member since 2013. A great place to be.
